<br /> �x��r �,f� _ WHfiREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
<br /> ������ of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of WILLIAM J. 4VHITE AND
<br /> ��Y 6� Cg R����p� OTHERS requesting that premises described as:
<br /> Commencing at a point 8-1/3 rods west of the Northeast
<br /> corner of the Northti�est Quarter of Section 3, Township
<br /> 16 North, Range 2East of the 3rd P.t•1.; thence West I6-2/3
<br /> rods; thence South 96 rods; thence East 16-2/3 rods; thence
<br /> North 96 rods to the P,O,B,; except the South 792 feet
<br /> M�C�� thereof; also, commencing at a point 25 rods t�]est of the
<br /> " Northeast corner of the Northi�rest Quarter of Section 3,
<br /> Tocvnship 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; thence
<br /> West 33-1/3 rods; thence Sou� 96 rods; thence East 33-1/3
<br /> rods; thence North 96 rods to the P.O.B., except the South
<br /> 792 feet and the West 219 feet thereoP; aiso, ali portiors
<br /> of public highways within or ne xt and adjacent thereto;
<br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and,
<br /> tvf�RFA S, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed
<br /> by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described
<br /> property and that there are no electors residing therein; and,
<br /> VIHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur,
<br /> Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town,
<br /> ox other Municipality; and,
<br /> WI-IEREAS, notice of intention to talce action on annexat ion of
<br /> the said territory has been given as provided by statute,
<br /> NOW� THEREFORE� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL Or^ TI-IE CITY OF
<br /> DECATUR� IL,LINOIS;
<br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabave described be,
<br /> and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby incorporate into ',
<br /> the limits of the Q ty of Dec�tur, Illinois, a municipal coxporation, '
<br /> Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached �
<br /> hereto and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 3, That the City CZerk cause certified copies of this
<br /> or.dinance to be respectively iiled �vith the County Clerk and recorded
<br /> by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
