✓ <br /> � 4 . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �'9 d 3 <br /> /`l� <br /> AN ORDINANCE RE7ANING PROPERTY <br /> WI-IEREAS, on the 4th day of January, 1974, after notice as re- <br /> quired by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held <br /> a public hearing upon the petition of SIR C�ORGES INC. to rezone <br /> premises described as: <br /> Beginning at a point at the intersection of the Northerly <br /> right-of-way line of East Pershing Road and the Easterly <br /> right-of-way line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad, said <br /> point being also 26.4 feet West and 44.4 feet North of the <br /> S,W, corner of the S.E. 4j S. W. 4, Section 35, Township <br /> 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; the nce northerly <br /> along the said easterly right-of-way line of the Illinois <br /> Terminal Railroad on a bearing of North 1 degree 20 minutes <br /> 28 seconds East, 92.6 feet ; thence continuing northeasterly <br /> along said EasteYly right-of-way around a curve to the right <br /> having a radius of 5796.57 feet and a chord bearing of North <br /> 1 degree 38 minutes 58 seconds East for a distance of 11'7.4 <br /> feet; thence North 89 degrees 59 minutes 58 seconds East <br /> 196.28 feet; thence South 1 degree 19 minutes 58 seconds <br /> West 210.0 feet to a point on the Northerly right-Of-way line <br /> of East Pershing Road; thence Westerly along said northerly <br /> right-of-way line bearing iVorth 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 <br /> seconds West, 196.90 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 CONIl�tERCIAL DISTRICT; <br /> and, <br /> �REAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the <br /> prayer of said petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on f ile and <br /> approve d. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby, <br /> rezoned from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRIC.'T to B-2 OOMMERCIAL <br /> DISTRICT. <br /> Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove me ntioned are those <br /> districts set forth a nd defined in OYdinance No. 3512 of the City of <br /> Deeatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, and all <br /> the provisions, regulations, restrictions and requirements therein � <br /> set forth shall apply to the premises above described herein. <br /> Section 4.
