Mahon and Joan A. Mahon, requesting the premises descxibed as: A part of the East 396.0 feet of the West 792,0 feet of ; the SE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 30, T-16-N, R-3-E, of ' the 3rd P.M. , described as beginning at a point an the East line of the West 732.0 feet, a distance of 838.0 feet south oP the Northeast corner, thence south 436.7 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of the highway, thence 4�'est along the North right-of-way line, I74.0 feet to a point, thence around a curve to the right, having a radius of 1870.1 feet, a distance of 34.0 feet to a point, thence Northeasterly on a, line, a distance of �36.7 feet to a point on the south line , of the North 838.0 feet, a distance of 174,0 feet west of the point of beginning, thence East to the poing of beginning, be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and WHEI2E�1S, it is shown by affidavit t2�at said petition is signed by all of the o�mers af recorcI and by a11 the electors residing in said above described property, and Inh-IEFtEAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any cit;y, vi.11age, or i.ncorporated town or municipality; and Wf-iEREAS, notice of intention to take action on said annexation has been given as provided by statute; NO�V� THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TNE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECI�TUR� ILLINOI S: Sectio.n 1.
