ORDINANCE NO. �� / � � A1V ORDINANCE ANNE7CING T�Rr�ITORY ENTIRELY SURROUNDED BY THE CITY LIMITS OF DECATUR Wf�REAS, certain unincorporated territory described as follows; Beginning at a point on the existing corporate limits on the West right-of-way line of South Taylor Road, said point being on tl�e Southeast Corr�r of Lot One of Indian Springs Second Addition as per plat recorded in Boo�c 300 page 236 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, thence South along the West line of said South Taylor Road 481.57 feet, thence West to a point 66 feet Sou�h of the Southeast Corner of Lot 18 of Indian Springs Thir d Addition as per plat recorded in Boon 1405, Page 2 of the records aforesaid, thence Noxth to the Southeast corner o� said Lot 18, thence North along the East line I oi` said Lot 18 to the Southwest corner of Lot 19 oi said � Indian Springs Third Addition, thence East to the Southeast I� corner of said Lot 19; thence North along the East line of said Lot 19 and said East line extended North to the South line of Lot 2 of Indian Springs Second Addition as afoxesaid; I , thence East along the South lines of said Lot 2 and Lot 1 of Indian Springs 2nd Addition to the point of beginning; also a1 os I th e parts ot public highway lying within or next and adjacent thereto, if any is wholly bounded and surrounded by the boundaries of the City of Deca tur, Illinois; and �VHEREAS, such territory is less than sixtv (60) acres in area; and WHERE[�S, the Council finds that such t�rritory should be annexed to the said City ot Decatur, Illinois; and Vd-IE�tEAS, notice of the contemplated annexation of said terxitory has f�een given as provided by law, NOVJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Oi� DECATUIR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said territory or premises above describe� be, and the sa�ue are hereby, annexed to and made a par�t of the City ot Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Sec�tion 2. That a plat o� said premises herein annexed is hereto attached and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the C�ty Clerk cause certified copies o� this ordinance to be respectively filed with the Couty Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds ot Macon County, Illinois.
