USE PERMIT � <br /> ILLINOIS POWER COMPANY � <br /> �REAS, on the 5th day of .Tu1y, 1973, after notice as r�quired <br /> by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public <br /> hearing upon the petition of Illinois Power Company for a Special <br /> Use Permit under Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur to erect, <br /> operate, and maintain a gas regulator station on the premises in the <br /> city described as: <br /> Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 5 of <br /> Video Place, as per plat recorded in Book 300 <br /> Page 162 of the recoxds in the Recorder's Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois, 269.13 feet East of the South- <br /> w�est Corner of said Lot 5; thence West along tY� South <br /> line of said B1ock 5 100 feet; thence North perpendicular <br /> to the South line of Lot 5 100', thence East parallel <br /> to said South Zine 100', thence South to the point of <br /> beginning, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission has reported that <br /> the proposed use will not adversely affect the comprehensive plan <br /> or the character and development of the neighborhood, and has recomme nded <br /> that the ra er of said tition be ranted• <br />, P Y Pe 9 , <br /> NOGV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS; <br /> Section 1. That the report and recommendation of the Decatur <br /> Czty Plan Commiss ion be and is hereby received, placed on file an d <br /> approved. <br /> Section 2. That a Special Permit to erect, operate, and <br /> maintain a gas regulator station on the premises aforesaid be and the <br /> same is hereby granted Illinois Power Company, upon the condition <br /> that said premises be occupied for said purpose and none other; that <br /> the same be enclosed in a chain link fence; that the fenced area be <br /> surfaced with gravel or crushed rock and that said premises be kept <br /> neat and clean at a11 times the same is used as aforesaid; and that said <br /> use shall otherwise apply with all regulations set forth in the Zoning <br /> Ordinance for the district in which said premises are located. <br /> Section 3. That the Zoning map, as in Ordinance #3512 provided, <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to show the granting of said 9�ecial <br />
