WHEItEAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petit ion of CLIFFORD KOCI-�N- DORFfiR AND OTI�RS reque�ting that pr�i�es described as: Lots 65, 66 and 67 of Ellendale, as per Plat re- corded in Bock 646, page 278 of the Records in the Recorder�' Office of Macon Coanty, Illinois; Also, all portions of pnblic highwaqs within or next and adjacent thereto; b�a annexed to the City of Decatur, Illincis; and WI�IZ�AS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises ia said above de- scribed property and by all of the electors rasiding therein; and WI�REAS, said territory is c:ontigut�u� to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Tbvnn, or other Municipality; and in�ERfiAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE OOUNCZL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR� ILLII�OI S s Section l. That the said territory herinabove described be, and the same is hereby, anne�aed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said anne3ced premises is attached hereto and nac� a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this oxdinance to be respectively filed with the Cc>unty Clerk and the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois, for recording.
