, � . • . � � M. . � �' F<4•.• ORDINANCE IVO. � � �� AN OP�DINANCE MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR TI-�E FISCAL YEAR CONIlKENCING MAY 1, 1972, AND ENDING APRIL 30, 19'73. WfiEREAS, subsequent to the adoption by this Council on July 10, 1972, of the Annual Appropriation Ordinance, being Or- dinance No. 5686, for the fiscal period May 1, 1972, thraugh April 30, 1973, certain additional revenue not available when said ordinance was adopted and not then anticipated has become and been made available; and WHEREAS, the aggr�gate of the additional revenue available or estimated to be received subsequent to the adoption of said an- nual appropriation ordinance as aforesaid is in excess of the total amount hereinafter appropriated as provided by Illinois Revised Statutes 1971, Chapter 24, Section 8-2-9; and WI-iEREAS, said additional revenue is made available from the United States of t�merica pursuant to and in accordance with the pro- visions of the Reveriue Sharing Act of 1972; and WHEREAS, funds have been granted to the City of Decatur, Illinois, for the objects and purposes of said Revenue Sharing Act and it is necessary that appropriations be made so that said funds may be expen�led in the course of the administration by said City for said objects and purposes; and Wf�REAS, the funds hereinafter appropriated arise from sources of revenue other than general property taxes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1.
