✓ � � � � � n ♦ u+v .�. �,f h ORDINANCE NO. 5�S� AN ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT -- LAKEVIEW LODGE 1132 OF THE IMPROVED BENEVO- LENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS OF THE WORLD WHEREAS, on the 7th day of December, 1972, after no�ice as required by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of LAKEVIEW LdDGE 1132 OF THE IMPROVED BENEVOLENT A1�ID PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS OF THE WORLD for a special use permit to operate and maintain a private lodge on premises in the City of Decatur, at 1080-88 So�zth Franklin Street, other wise described as : Lots One (1) , Twc� (2), Three (3), Four (4) and Five (5) of Heminger's Subdivision to the City of Decatur, Illinois, as per Plat xecorded in Book 149, page 378 of the Records in the Recor- der 's Office of Macon County, Illinois; except the North 17.3 feet of the West 80.9 feet of said Lot Four (4); Also The East 107� feet of Lot Eleven (11) in Block Two (2) of Michl, Harpstrite & Shlaudeman's Sub- divisian of Lot Twenty-two (22) in the NW� of the N3'R�4 o.f Section 23, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , as per Plat recorded in Book 97, page 103 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission has reported to the Council that the proposed use will not adversely affect the com- prehensive plan or the character and development of the neighborhood and has recommendc�d that said special use permit be granted subject to the conditions hereinafter set out herein. NOW� THEREFORE� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COtJNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECAT[JR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the report and recommendatio n of the Decatur City Plan Commission be received, placed on f ile and approved. Section 2. That upon the conditions hereinafter set out here- in, a special use permit be, and the same is hereby, granted Lakeview Lodge I132 of the Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the World to operate and maintain a private lodge upon the premises above described herein.
