ORDINANCE NO. 5753 AN ORDINANCE VACATING PUBLIC WAY -- PORTION OF NORTH L�OODFORD STREET Wf-�REAS, a pet ition ha s been received from WAGNER CASTINGS OOMPANY and NORFOLIC & WESTfiRN RAILWAY QOMPANY requesting vacation by the City Council of that pa rt of North Woodford Street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, extending southerly from Sangamon Street to the right-of-way of said Railway Company and described as: � Beginning at the intersection of the Sauth line of Sarigamon � Street as vacated and the East Iine extended of the Resurvey of the East Half of Block 7 of Peddecord and Burrow's Addi- tion to the City of Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 22 page 419 of the Recor ds in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence South along said East line of the � Resurvey to the Northeast corner of Lot 6 of said Resurvey; thence East to a point on the West line of Block Two (2) of E. Thomas Subdivision of a part of the S.jJ. 1/4 of Section 12, To,amship 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.hi., as per Plat recorded in Book 22 page 453 of the Records in the Re- corder 's Office of M�acon County,Illinois; thence North along � said ?ti�est line o� Lilock Two (2) of E.
