ORDINANCE NO� ��3� <br /> ORDINANCE AN�NDING THE "DECATUR ELECTRICAL OODE" <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TI� CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Sectio n 1. That Ordinance No. 5054, the same being "An <br /> Ordinance Regulating the Installation, Alteration and Use of Elec- <br /> trical Equipment and Establishing an Electrical Inspection Depart- <br /> ment " passed and approved on the 19th day of August, 1968, as amended, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, further amended at Section 14 thereof by <br /> substituting in lieu of the exist ing provisions of Secti on 14 the <br /> followin g provi sions: <br /> "14. The rules and regulations, requirements, <br /> standards and provisions of the National Elec- <br /> trical Code 1968, being NFPA No. 70-1968, USAS <br /> CI-1968 are, pursuant to statute, adopted by <br /> reference as if fully set forth herein and the <br /> BOCA Basic Building Code/1970 Fifth Edition of <br /> the Building Officials and Code Administrators <br /> International, Inc. , and the Code for the In- <br /> stallation of Heat Producing Appliances, Heating, <br /> Ventilating, Air Conditioning, Blower and Exhaust <br /> Systems, Edition 1967 of the American Insurance , <br /> Association, insofar as the provisions of each of !, <br /> said codes may be applicable to the installation , <br /> or alteration of electrical equipment for the uti- ! <br /> lization of electricity for light, heat or power <br /> are also so adopted by reference. " <br /> Section 2.
