� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 5�3� <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY QJDE - <br /> CHAPTER 49 - "AL.COHOLIC LIQUORS" <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DRCATUR� <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and the same is he reby, modified at Chapter 49 there- <br /> of entitled "ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS" in Section I6 of said Chapter so as <br /> to permit the sale of such liquors on election days. <br /> Section 2. That to accomplish said modification said Sec- <br /> tion 16 of said Chapter 49 be, and the same is here by, amended so <br /> that as amended said section shall provide as follows: <br /> "16. All licensees may sell or permit to be sold on <br /> or in his licensed premises alcoholic liquors between <br /> the hours of 6 o'clock A.M. and 1 o'clock A.M, on the <br /> day following, except on Sundays when no alcoholic <br /> liquor may be sold or consumed on the premises between <br /> the hours of 1 o'clock A.M. and 1 o'clock P.M. , with <br /> the fur�ther exception of New Year 's Eve when alcoholic <br /> liquors may be sold and consumed upon the premises until <br /> 3 o'clock A.M. January lst. The hours as set forth here- <br /> in shall mean standard time or daylight savings time as <br /> may be in current use as elseiti�ere provided for in this <br /> Code. " <br /> Section 3.
