6� � , �/ ORDINANCE NO. -��a� AN ORDINAIVCE REZONING PROPERTY WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1972, after notice as required by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a puilnlic hearing upon the petiti on of VERNON H. HOUCI-IEN� THOMAS N. MALLEOS AND J. L. TALLMAN, INC. to rezone premises de- scribed as: Lots 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 of H, q. Wood's Walnut Grove Addition to the City of De catur, as per Plat recorded in Book 22 page 600 of the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Iliinois; from R-3 SINQ.E FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to O-1 OFFICE DISTRICT; and WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said pe tition be denie d. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNQ L OF THE CITY OF DECATi7R� ILLINOIS: Section l. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the sa�e is here by, disapproved. Section 2. That said above described pre mises be , and they are hereby, re�oned from R-3 SINGIE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to O-1 OFFICE DISTRICT. Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are those districts set forth and defined in OYdinance No. 3 512 of the City of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, arid all the provisions, re gulations, restrictions and requirements therein set forth shall ap ply to the premises above described herein. Section 4. That the zoning of said premises as set out here- in shall be shown and verified on the District Zoning Map as in such Ordinance No. 3512 provided and said districts be, a nd they are hereby, amended and changed as herein set forth.
