� � � <br /> . ,�' <br /> ORDIIVANCE NO. � (� �4 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of JAMES L. NICHOLLS AND <br /> CAROL L. NICHOLLS requesting that premises described as: <br /> The North 76.5 feet of the South 465 feet of the West <br /> 600 feet of Lot 1 McCale b's Subdivision, as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 300, at page130 of the Records in the <br /> Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois; <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and ' <br /> WE�REAS, it is sho�vn by affidavit that said petition is signed <br /> by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described <br /> property and by all of the electors residing therein; and <br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur , <br /> Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village , Incorporated Town <br /> or other Municipality; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of <br /> the said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATU R, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described be , <br /> and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into <br /> the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
