5675 AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUE OF $8,000,000 WATER REVENUE BONDS

This bond and the series of which it forms a part, is pay- able solely from revenues derived from the wa,terworks system of said City, and not otherwise, and is issued under authority of Division 129 of Article 11 of the Illinois Municipal Code of 1961, approved May 29, 1g61, and all laws amendatory thereof and supplementary thereto, for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing improve- ments to the municipal waterworks system of said City of Decatur, all as more fully referred to and described in the ordinance adopted by the Council of said City on , 1972, duly si�ned and thereafter published as required by law and now in full force and effect and which ordinance authorized the issuance of this bond and the series of which it forms a part, and this bond does not constitute an indebtedness of said City within any constitutional or statutory limitation. Under the provisions of said Division 129 of Article 11 of said Illinois Municipal Code of 1961, as above referred to, and the ordinance adopted pursuant thereto authorizing the issuance of this bond and the series of which it forms a part, the revenues from the operation of the municipal waterworks system of said City shall be deposited in a separete fund designated as the: "Water Fund" of said City,which shall , be used and is hereby pledged for paying the cost of operation and ma�ntenance of such system, providing an adequate depree�tion fund , and paying the principal of and interest on the bonds of auc� �3i�y that are payable by their terms only from the revenue of such water- works system, and to maintain and to make the credits of the required amounts to the several accounts referred to and described and as pro- vided for and in conformity with the covenants of the City as set forth in the ordinance pursuant to which this bond and the series of which it forms a part, is issued. It is hereby certified and recited that all acts, conditions and things required to be done precedent to and in the issuance of this bond have been done and have happened and have been performed in -7-
