t � ~/J/ ORDINANCE NO. .. �3� AN ORDINANCE REZOIVING PROPERTY WHEREAS, on the 6th da y of January, 1972, after notice as required by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of WILLIAM H. SILVER and MARGARET SILVER to rezone premises described as follows: Beginning at a point 424.38 feet East and 319.27 feet South of the North west corner of the East one-half of the Southwest Quarter of Sectio n 3, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ; thence South 300 feet to a point; thence West along a line 4 feet North of and parallel to the North 13.ne of Maple Court 200 feet to a point; thence North 300 feet to a point; thence East 200 feet to the point of beginning, except the South 100 feet thereof; from R-3 SINQ.E FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELL- ING DISTRICT; and _ - WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of sa id pet ition be granted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIIVED BY THE �UNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, approved. Section 2. That said above described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-3 SINGLE FAMILY �SIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLIIYG DISTRICT. Section 3. That the Districts hereinabovementioned are those districts set forth and defined in Ordinance No. 3512 of the City of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, and all the provisiflns, regulations, restrictions and requirements therein set forth shall apply to the premises above described herein. Section 4. That the zoning of said premises as set out herein shall be shov�m and verified on the District Zoning Map as in such Ordinance No. 3512 provided and said districts be, and they are hereby, amended and changed as herein set forth.
