RESOLUTION NO. R2016- 125 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION TO THE EXISTING AGREEMENT WITH ARTHUR J. GALLAGHER AND CO. FOR RISK MANAGEMENT ADVISORY SERVICES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to affect a contractual agreement term extension between the City of Decatur Illinois, and Arthur J. Gallagher and Co., under the terms as defined by the contract extension proposal of Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. Section 2. Certain unforeseen conditions have developed that were not known at the time of council adoption of Council Resolution R2014-21 approving the agreement for ', professional brokerage and risk management advisory services to secure excess insurance for, I and to assist in managing, the City's property/casualty self insurance program for the period I October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2019, which now places the city in the position to extend the agreement term to September 30, 2021. Section 3. That the City Manager is hereby, authorized and directed to sign such agreement extension as defined in the contract extension proposal.
