, . ,r � , ✓ i � ��, � . ._/ / ORDINANCE NO.�-~" �.n 6 D AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS Wt�REAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of A.D.G. INVESTMEIv'TS, INC. AND OTHERS, requesting that premises described as: The North 460.0 feet of the East 470.0 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE?4) of Section 35, Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian; Also all parts of public highways lying within or next and adjacent to said above described territory; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and 6VHEREAS, it is sho wn by affidavit that said petition is s igned by a 11 of the owner s of record oi' premises in sa id above de- scribed property and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Inc orporated Town, or other Municipality; and Wf-IEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexat ion of said territory has been given as provided by Statute. NOW THEREFO RE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS; Section l. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporatio n. Section 2. That a plat of said anne xecl premises is attached hereto an� made a part hereof. Section 3.
