S��� <br /> AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE REMOVAL OF A <br /> STOP SIGN AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A <br /> STOP INTERSECTION <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATU�2, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the stop sign requiring traf_fic on Home <br /> � Park Avenue to stop before entering the intersection of said street <br /> � with Center Street be removed . <br /> ` Section 2. That ivhen appropriate signs are erected giv- <br /> ing notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle on Center Street approach- <br /> ing Home Park Avenue from either direction shall stop and yield the <br /> right-of-way to vehicles on Home Park ��enue �vhich have entered the <br /> intersection of sa id streets or which are approaching so closely there- <br /> to as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having so <br /> stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe <br /> interval occurs . <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall <br /> violate any of the provisions oF this ordinance shall, upon conviction, <br /> be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than T�+lo :iundrec� <br /> Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br /> S�ction 4.
