,� `7r�f � • / , „ / ' � ' ORDINANCE NO. .S��y AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE C ITY OF DECATLTR, ILLINOIS 4VHEI�AS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of IRA A. PATRICK AND OTHER S, reauesting that premises described as : Lot 23 of West Lake Third Addition of Out Lots to the City of Decatur , as per Plat recorde�i in Book 536, page 66 oi the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois ; Also, all parts of public highways lying within or next and ad- jacent to said above described territory; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described pro- perty and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHERE�3S, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur , Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Toum, or other Municipality; and WHEREAS, notice o� intention to take action on annexation of the said territory has been given as provided by statute . NOtiv' THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE �ITY Or DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois , a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordi- nance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorde�9 by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
