<br /> motor vehicles designed and Constructe�. for . the purpose of the ��
<br /> transportation of persons, such public utility being operated by a
<br /> duly constituted public utili.ty comp�.ny organi.zed under and purau-
<br /> ant to the laws of the State of Illinois and kno�m as Decatur City ,
<br /> Lines, Inc . ; and
<br /> 1r,�REAS ne�otiations are in pro�ress between sa.id Decatur
<br /> City Lines, I�c. , and representatives of the City of Decatur whereb�T
<br /> the said Decatur City Lines, Inc., will abandon its service within
<br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois, and the eaid City of Decatur will
<br /> acquire all that property, both real and personal, which is now
<br /> owned by said D�catur City Lines, Inc . , and which comprises its
<br /> ex3sting transit system providing for the transportation of person�
<br /> in and along the public streets and ways within the City of Decat�r,
<br /> such existing transit system consistin�r of 16 motor coaches powered
