That in order to raise the sum oi' $250,000 <br /> needed for the purpose of paying the cost of acqL�iring property � <br /> necessary or apprapriate for the operation of a publi,c utility for <br /> the transportation of persons with3n tYie corporate limits of the <br /> City of Dec�,tur, Illinois, there be borrowed by, for and on behalf <br /> � of the City of Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, the sum of $250,000 <br /> and to evidence said loan, negotiable coupon bonds of said City be <br /> issued . Said bonds shall be designated "Decatur Transit System <br /> Bond, " be dated December 1, 1971, be fifty (50) in number, numbered <br /> consecutively from 1 to 50, inclusive, be of the denomina�;ion of <br /> $5,000 each and mature seri�.11y on January 1 of each of the years <br /> and in the amounts as follows : <br /> _�._ <br />
