J�J �� <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, on the lst day of July, 1971, after notice as <br /> required by la w and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing upon the petition of ROGER B. POGUE to re- <br /> zone premises described as follows: <br /> All that part of the Southeast Quarter of the <br /> Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 16 North, <br /> Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , lying South of the <br /> South ri ght-of-way line of U. S. Rt . #36, except <br /> the East 150 feet thereof; also except that part <br /> of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter <br /> of said Section 7 described as follows: Commencing <br /> at the southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter <br /> of the Southeast Quarter, the nce North 16 rods; <br /> thence East 40 rods; thence South 8 rods; thence <br /> East to a poTnt 150 feet East and 8 rnds North of <br /> the southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of <br /> the Southeast Quarter; thence South 8 rods to the <br /> South line of said Southeast Quarter of the South- <br /> east Quarter; thence West along said Sou th line to <br /> the place of beginning; <br /> from R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING DIS TRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended <br /> that the prayer of said petition be denied. <br /> NOW THERfiFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLIIVOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recornmendation of the Decatur City <br /> Plan Commission be, and the same is hereby, disapproved. <br /> Section 2. That said above described premises be , and <br /> they are he reby, rezone d from R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT to <br /> B-2 CONB�IERC IAL DI STRICT. <br /> Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are <br /> those districts set forth and defined in Ordina nce No. 3512 of the <br /> City of Decatur, Tllinois, commonly knoovn as the Zoning Ordinance, <br /> and all the provisions, regulations, restrictions and require ments <br /> therein set forth shall apply to the premises above described herein. <br /> Section 4.
