•s � w� , ' �� .�� , � + ORDINANCE NO. . S-� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of A.D.G. INVESTMENTS, INC., requesting that premises described as: The Northeast Quarter (NE4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 4) of Section 35, Twp. 17 North Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. , except the North 460' of the East 470' and that portion dedicated for East Mound Road, as per de- dication recorded in Book 1504 at page 71 of the records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois; be annexed to the City ot Decatur, Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described pro- perty and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur , Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be , and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this Ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
