J �,� ,� - <br /> AN ORDINANCS FIXING SALARIES AND <br /> WAGES OF CITY EMPLOYSES <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY TfiS COUNCIL OF TI� CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That until otherwise ordained by the Council, the sal- <br /> aries and wages to be paid commencing May 1, 1971 to those employees of <br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois, assigned to and serving in those positions <br /> set out in the schedule hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof and <br /> entitled Classification and Pay Plan, City of Decatur, Illinois, May 1, <br /> 1971, be, and the same are hereby, fixed as set out in the schedule <br /> hereto attached and he reby made a part hereof and entitled City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, Schedule of Salaries and Wages, Sffectiv� May 1, 1971, which <br /> said salaries and wages shall be paid in weekly or bi-weekly in�tallment�, <br /> as the case may be, in accordance with payrolls presented to and allowed <br /> by the City Council as provided by la w and ordinance. <br /> Section 2. That the provisions of ordinance in conflict mith the <br /> provisions of this ordinance to the extent of such conflict be, and the <br /> �ame are hereby, repealed, provided, however, that the provisions of <br /> ordinance heretofore passed applicable to salaries and wages of City <br /> employees in�ofar as the same are not in conflict with the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall remain and be in full force and effect. <br /> Section 3. That the provision of this ordinance shall become and be <br /> effective im�aediately upon its passage and approval a� provided by law. <br /> PRESENTBD, PASSED, APPROVED and RECORDED this 3rd day of May, 1971.
