� � � r a � � . � • • / � 1 .��. ORDINANCfi NO. J �,� ,� - AN ORDINANCS FIXING SALARIES AND WAGES OF CITY EMPLOYSES BE IT ORDAINED BY TfiS COUNCIL OF TI� CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That until otherwise ordained by the Council, the sal- aries and wages to be paid commencing May 1, 1971 to those employees of the City of Decatur, Illinois, assigned to and serving in those positions set out in the schedule hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof and entitled Classification and Pay Plan, City of Decatur, Illinois, May 1, 1971, be, and the same are hereby, fixed as set out in the schedule hereto attached and he reby made a part hereof and entitled City of Decatur, Illinois, Schedule of Salaries and Wages, Sffectiv� May 1, 1971, which said salaries and wages shall be paid in weekly or bi-weekly in�tallment�, as the case may be, in accordance with payrolls presented to and allowed by the City Council as provided by la w and ordinance. Section 2. That the provisions of ordinance in conflict mith the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of such conflict be, and the �ame are hereby, repealed, provided, however, that the provisions of ordinance heretofore passed applicable to salaries and wages of City employees in�ofar as the same are not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain and be in full force and effect. Section 3. That the provision of this ordinance shall become and be effective im�aediately upon its passage and approval a� provided by law.
