ORDINANCE NO. �� L , AN ORDINANCB ANNEXING TfiRRZTORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS � ,TY WHEREAS, there has been filed with the �r�e�-t Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois the Petition of the Macon County Conservation District, duly verified, requesting that premises described as; Lot 3 and the North 660 feet of the East 2.5 i chains of Lot 2, of the Nozth fiast 4 of the South East 4 18, 16 2 E. , as per Plat recorded in Book 22, page 33 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, and also the East 9.95 chains of all that part of the East � of the North East 4 of Section 18, lying South of S.B.I. Route #10 except, beginning at a point 1177. 16 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Section 18, thence West 200 feet, thence North 215.7 feet to the center of said State Route #10, thence Basterly along the center of said Route #10 to the East line of said Section 18, thence South to the place of beginning; also, all those parts of public highways lying within or next and adjacent to said described territory. be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Wf�REAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all the owners of record of premises in said above described property and that the re are no electors residing therein, and WI�RfiAS� said t�rritory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any city, village , incorporated town or other snch municipality, and WI-�REAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW TF-�REFORE, BE IT ORDAINfiD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be , and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby incozporated into the limits of the City of Decatur , Illinois, a Municipal Corporation.
