� ,f � r <br /> ✓�. <br />' o�iN�avcg rro. s �� <br />' AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> WHfiREAS, on the 4th day of February, 1971, after notice <br /> as required by law and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing upon the petition of ILLINOIS POWER COMPANY <br /> to rezone premises described as: <br /> A tract of land located in t he Northwest Quartcr of the <br /> Notthwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 16 North, Range <br /> 2 Ea�t of the Third Principal Meridian, in the County oF <br /> Macon, State of Tllinois, more particularly described <br /> as follows: Commencing at a point 35 feet West, and 1528.3 <br /> feet North of the Southeast corner of the West Half of <br /> the Northwest Quarter of said Section, which point is <br /> also the Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed <br /> by the Academy of St .Teresa to Illinois Power and Light <br /> Corporation by deed dated December 16, 1924, and recorded <br /> in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois, in <br /> Book 544, Page 595; thence Westwazdly, along the North- <br /> erly liae of the property so conveyed as aforesaid and <br /> its Westerly extension, a distance of 420 feet to the <br /> point of beginning; thence continuing We�twardly along <br /> the said line a distance of 271.87 feet; thence North <br /> on a line parallcl to the West line of said Section a <br /> distance of 181.1 feet, more or less, to the centerline <br /> of a public highway described in Warranty Deed from <br /> Edward D. Mattes and fimma L. Mattes, his wife, to Commis- <br /> sion�r of Highways dated September 26, 1932, and recorded <br /> in Book 737, Page 254 of the said records of said <br /> County; thence Eastwardly along the centerline of said <br /> public highway so conv�yed as aforesaid to a point which <br /> is 455 feet West of the fiast line of said Quarter Quarter' <br /> Sect ion; thence South a long a 1 ine pa ra l le 1 to t he Ea st <br /> line of �aid Quarter Quarter Section to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> from R-3 RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIQ�T INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT; and <br /> tn�-iEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said Petition be granted. <br /> NOW THERfiFORE, BE IT ORDAII�D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR� ILLINOISs <br /> . � , <br /> � ' � . <br />
