FE64- 197i `�.� � / �tecorded In Book..�6.9�.Page...41., J - �� AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE ' h�,,, ,�� Recorw>r ot Uoe�l� - CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS i WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of THE CITIZENS NATIONAL BANK OF DECATUR AS TRUSTEE AND OTHERS, requesting that premises described as: � All that portion of the Southeast Quarter of the ' Nor�heast Quarter of Section 27 lying West of the Illinois Central Railroad, and alI that portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27 lying wcst of said �llinois CentraZ Railroad, all in Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M., containing 19.35 acres, more or less, and The East Half of the South West Quarter; the South Half of the South East Quarter, except the West 1320 feet of the South 847.65 feet thereof; also beqinning at a point 504 feet East of the Northwsst Corner of the South East Quarter of Section Twenty- seven (27), thence South 951 feet to a stone,thence East to the East line of the North 4Jest Quarter of the South East Quarter, thence South 384 feet to the South East corner of said North 6Vest Quarter of the South East Quarter, thence West to the South- west C�rner of said North West Quarter of the South East Quarter, thence North to the Northwest Corner of said South East Quarter, thence East 504 feet to the place of beginning; all in Section Twenty-seven (27), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Tulo (2) East oF the 3rd P.M., subject to _. _ _ existing railxoad ri.ght of way; also all those por- tions of public highways 1y3�g within or next and adjacent to said described premises. be annexecl to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and WHER�AS, it is shown by`affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described property and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous bothe City of Decatur, Illinois, a nd is not a part of any City, Villa ge, Incorporated Toivn or Other Municipality; and WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, I LLI NO IS: � Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
