Syy�-- ORDINANCE ANNBXING TERRITORY TO THE ' CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS i WHERBAS, the following described territory is owned by the City of Decatur, Illinois, is uninhabited and unincorporated and is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinoiss The Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Sec- tion 4, Township 16 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M. and the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarte� of the Southeast Quarter and 1 rod in width off of the en- tire West side of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 17 North, Range 3 East of the 3rd P.M., except beginning at a point 820 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Northeast Quarter of Section 4; thence East 500 feet to the Northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 4; thence South 1500 feet to the Southeast corner of said Nozthwest Quarter of the Northeast Quartcr; thence West 1145 feet to a point 175 feet East of the Southwest corner of said North- west Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence Northeaster- ly to the place of be ginning; also all those portions of public highways lying next and adjacent thereto or in- cluded therein. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINfiD BY THE QOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOTS: Section 1. That the territory aPoresaid in this Ordinance described be, and the same is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur , Illinois, a municipal corporation, and is hereby annexed to said City. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this or- dinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
