WHEREAS, certain unincorporated terYitory described as <br /> � follows t <br /> All that part of the West Half of the Southwest <br /> Quarter of Section 21, Township 16 North, Range <br /> 3 East of the 3rd P.M., lying South of the south- <br /> erly zight-of-way line of U. S. Rt. 36,except <br /> those portions of the right-of-way of Zllinois <br /> State Highway No. 121 and Maryiand Street situated <br /> . in said West Half of the Southwest Quarter of sai.d <br /> Section 21; <br /> is wholly laounded and surrounded by the boundazies of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois; and <br /> t�II-IEREAS, such territory is less than sixty (60) acres in <br /> area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council finds that such territory should be <br /> annexed to the said City of Decatur, Illinois; and <br /> �REAS, notice of the contemplated annexation of said <br /> territory has been given as provided by law. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OR DECATUR� ILLINOIS; <br /> Section 1. That said territory or premises above described <br /> be, and the same aze hereby, annexed to and made a part of the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. <br /> Section 2. That a plat of said premises herein annexed is <br /> hereto attached and made a part hereof. <br /> Section 3.
