<br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS
<br /> kHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
<br /> of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of H. R.AY MYERS AND OTHERS,
<br /> �, requesting that premises described as:
<br /> Beginning at the Northeast Corner (NE) of the North
<br /> - West Quarter (Nt�) of the North East Quarter (NE4)
<br /> of Section 31, Township lb North, Range 3 East of the
<br /> Third Principal Meridian; thence North 62 feet more
<br /> or less to the South right-of-way line of State Aid
<br /> Route No. 50, thence northwesterly along said South �
<br /> right-of-way line of said State Aid Route No. 50 to
<br /> a line 478 feet west of and parallel to the East line
<br /> of said North West Quarter (N4V14) of the North East
<br /> Quarter (NEQ) of said Section 31 and said line ex-
<br /> tended north, thence South along said last described
<br /> line 95b.44 feet to the City of Decatur, Lake Decatur
<br /> boundary, thence North 50° 50' East, 148.6 feet, thence ,
<br /> North 80° SO' East, 309.8 feet, thence South 480 34'
<br /> fiast, '70.7 feet to the East line of said North West
<br /> Quarter (NTnY) of the North East Quarter (NE4) of said
<br /> Section 31, thence North 685.6 feet to the place of
<br /> beginning.
<br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and
<br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by
<br /> all of the ownezs of record of premises in said above described property,
<br /> and by all of the electors residing therein; and
<br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur,
<br /> Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town oi
<br /> Other Municipality; and
<br /> �iEREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said
<br /> territory has been give n as pr9vided by statute.
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> DECATUR, ILLINOZS: ,
<br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and
<br /> the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits
<br /> of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
<br /> Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto
