y r ' ' / i� ORDINANCE NO. � I r ORDINANCfi CLOSING STREETS AT INTERSECTIONS WITH NORTH S.B.I. ROUTE 48 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS; Section 1. That when barricades or signs are erected giving notice thereof, ingress or egress of vehicles on to or off of North S,B.I. Route 48 at the intersection thereof with the following named streets in The City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby prohibited, and no vehicle shall be operated onto or off of said route thereat: (a) Nozth Fairview Avenue at the northerly right of way line of said S.B.I. Route 48; (b) West Packard Street at the westerly right of way line of said i � S.B.I. Route 48; < (c) North Wilder Avenue at the northerly right of way line of said � S.B.I. Route 48; (d) North University Avenue at the southerly right of way line of said S.B.I. Route 48; and, (e) West Leafland Avenue at the easterly and at the westerly right of way line of said S.B.I. .Route 48. Section 2. Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Section 3. That the Director of Public Works be , and he is hereby, authorized to cause the signs or barricades aforesaid to be erected to carry out the purposes of this ordinance at such time as he sha 11 deem appropriate, but not later than the completion of the new contemplated impzovement of said S.B.I. Route 48 under the project designated State Motor Fuel Tax Section 130R and City Motor Fuel Tax Section 137-C.S.
