<br />, AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO

<br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS.

<br /> k�-IEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the
<br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of WESLEY J. PTETSCH
<br /> AND OTHERS requesting that premises d�scribed as:
<br /> Tract 1: 1-ot 49 of Huston Heights as per Plat recorded in
<br /> Book 300 Page 220 of the Records in the Recorder's ,
<br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois.
<br /> Tract 2: The East Half of the SW"4 OF THE SW4 of Section 27
<br /> Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. ,
<br /> except commencing at a point 262 feet East of the
<br /> Southwest Corner of said tract, thence North 325
<br /> feet, thence ulest 137 feet, thence North 30 feet,
<br /> thence 6�+'est 105 feet, thence North 965 feet, thence
<br /> West 20 feet to the Northwest corner of the East
<br /> Half of the SW�a of the S6�4 of Section 27, thence
<br /> South along the ��est line of the East Half of the
<br /> SW4 of the SW'-�4 of said Section 27, 1320 feet, thence
<br /> East 262 feet 'to the place of oeginning.
<br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and
<br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is
<br /> signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above
<br /> described proper.ty and by all of the electors residing therein; and
<br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguou s to the City of Deca-
<br /> tur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorpo rated
<br /> Town or other Municipality; and
<br /> WHEREAS, Notice of ,intention to take action on annexation
<br /> of said territory has been given as provided by statute.
<br /> NOW THEREFO RE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE OOUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove des�ribed
<br /> be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated
<br /> into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal cor-
<br /> poration.
<br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached
<br /> hereto and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this
<br /> ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by
<br /> _ the Recorder of �eeds of Macon County, Illinois.
