That OYdinance No. 3512 of The City of <br /> Decatur, Illinoi�, the san�e being The Zoning Ordi�nce be , and <br /> the same is hereby, a�ended at Section XXII. C. 4. so that as <br /> aaended said �ect ic�n shall provide: <br /> 4. The owner, or owner�, of a building or structure <br /> subject to the provisions of Section X3Q I. C. 2. (c). requiz- <br /> ing reaoval or alteration and conversion to a conforoing u�e <br /> as therein provided, notwithstanding �aid provi�ions, aay, but <br /> only withir� 12 months from Februazy 8, 19�0, and before notice <br /> to convert to a conforaing use, apply to the Department of Con- <br /> munity Developaent for a certific�te of occupancy p�rmitting <br /> the continued nonconforming occupancy of ��id building, or <br /> structure foz the sane, or a more restricted use for a period <br /> of five y�az� beyond the period of time provided at sub-section <br /> C. 2. (c). If alter �uch application is received �a�id building <br /> or structure i� inspected and is found to conform with all the <br /> applicable provisio ns of the Building Code, the Fire Code, the <br /> P luabing Code, the Blectrical Code, the Heating, Ventilating and <br /> Air Conditioning Code, and any other applicable code or ordinanc� <br /> of the City, said certificate of occupancy shall be issued a�nd <br /> said five year extension of time �hall be granted. If upon such <br /> inapection said building or structuYe is found to not confor�a with <br /> all applicable provisions of said codes and ordinance�, upon pro- <br /> per application for the sane in accordance with those respective <br /> codes and ordinances, required peraits shall be issued for that <br /> work which may be found to be nece��ary to cause said building or <br /> structure to so conform with said proviaions, and after said w�ork <br /> has been compl�ted, when upon furth�r inspection the san� is found <br /> to cafor� with �aid provisiens, said certificate of occupancy ahall <br /> issue aa aforesa id. To perait compliance with said provisions as <br /> required by this section a structural alteYa�tion �ay be �ernit ted <br /> to be nade to a nonconfor�aing building or structure to which this <br /> section is applicable notwithstandin g the provisions of Section <br /> }IXII. A. 3. provided that such structural alteration is made before <br /> August 8, 1971. <br /> Section 2.
