�� • • ' • � � ' � ORDINANCE NO. �,.7`�� /v -�r-- AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREA S, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of RICHARD BARCLAY AND OTH�RS requesting that premises described as: Lots 1, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 28, 29, 32, 41, 42, 44, 45, 57, 58, 64 of Ellendale Addition to the City of Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 646, page 278 of the Records in the Recorder 's Office of Macon County, Illinois, also, all those portions of public street, highway or way therein or next and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and Wf-�REAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owne rs of record of premises in said a bove described property and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incor- porated Toum or other r'Iunicipality; and GV:iFREAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute . NOW THEREFOF,E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF nECATUR�ILLINOIS: �ection 1. That the said territory Y.ereinabove descrihed be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur , Illinois, a municipal cor- poration. Section 2. That a plat of said anne xed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this orc3inance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
