' � , , gao��,�� PA6� 98 ��45�5�7 ��;,r:.'; . . � � , , d O�CDINANCE NO. 5333 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS� WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the � City of Decatur , I1linois, the s�vorn petition of ALBERTA MONT- ' GOMERY requestirg that premises described as: The North 390 fe�t of the East 465 feet of the North- west Quarter (NT,+Il�) of Section Thirty-four (34) Township Seventeen (17) North, Range T��o (2) East of the 3rd P.M. ; in Macan County, Illinois; also that portion of PJest Mound Road lying next and adjacent thereto; be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and W!-��AS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described property and by all of the electors residing therein; and fnhiEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incor- porated Town or other Municipality; an3 WI-�REAS, notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW T�REFOi?E� BE •IT ORDAINED BY THE COUiVCIL OF T� CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, � and the same is here by, anne xed to and is hereby incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said anne:ced premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorc3ed by the Recorder of Deeds of 1`�acon County, Tllinois.
