S �,j �-- AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY 1n THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WI-IEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of ROSEMARY A. WEBB AND OTHERS requesting that premises described as: West 90 feet of Lot Seventeen (17) of Sena M. Wede Subdivision of the North Half of the North West Quarter of the South East Quarter of Sec- tion Twenty, Township Sixteen North, Range Three East of the 3rd P.M. , as per Plat recorded in Book 745 page 119 of the Records in the Recorder 's office of Macon County, Illinois; also that por- tion of Rosewood Road lying next and adjacent there- ta; be annexed to the City of Decatur , Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit tha t said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of premises in said above described property and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is cont iguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town or other Munidpality; and WHEREAS, notice of intention to take actio n on anne xation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFORE� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE OOUNCIL OF TI-iE CTTY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS; Section 1. That the said territory herei.nabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the Iimits of the City of laecatur, Illinois, a municipal cor- poration. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3 . That the City Clerk cause certified copies of thi s ordinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon Oounty, Illinois.
