. �. . . . . - ✓ ORDINANCE NO. =�=�J AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS. WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of WALTER J. KOS- TENSKI AND OTI�RS requesting that premises described as: Tract i: Beginning at a point 1,584 feet south and 137.5 feet west of the northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of' Section Three (3), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. ; thence West 312 feet 7 inches; thence North 792 feet; thence East 308 feet 8 inches; thence South 792 feet to the place of beginning; Tract 2: A part of the East Half (EZ) of the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Sect ion Three (3), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. , Macon County, Illinois, in the City of �ecatur, beginning at a point 1,584 feet south of the Northeast corner of the Northwest �2uarter (NW4) of Section Three (3 ); thence West 450.'7 feet; thence 509.4 feet South; thence East 453.9 feet; thence North 508 feet to the point of beginning, except the South 171 feet there- of; be annexed to the City of Decatur , Illinois; and WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the ovaners of record of premises in said above described property and by all of the electors residing therein; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is nQt a part of any City,Village, Incorporated Town or other Municipality; and Wf-IEREAS� notice of intention to take action on annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW THEREFOI�, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby, incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation. Section 2. That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of this Urdinance to be respectively filed with the County Clerk and recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
