.! � , � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �-% 3�'�" <br /> AN ORDINANCE RB7ANING PROPER2Y <br /> WI-�REAS, on the 7th day of November, 1968, after notice <br /> as required by law and ordinance, th� Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing upon the petition of G. HAROLD HUBBARD AND <br /> OTI-�RS to rezone premises described as: <br /> AlI of the North Half of the Southwest Quarter <br /> of Section 36, Toumship 17 North� Range 2 East <br /> of the 3rd p.M. , situated in Macon County, <br /> Illinois; <br /> Prom R-1 SINQ.E FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M..1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br /> DISTRICT; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended <br /> that the pxayer of said petition be granted; and <br /> WI-�REAS, this Council did thereafter consider said peti- <br /> tion and did rezone a portion of said premises as in said petition <br /> requested and by said Plan Commission recommended but did not rezone <br /> all of said premises; and <br /> t�-IEREAS, on the 15th day of January, 1970, after notice as <br /> re quired by 1a w and ordinance, the Decatur City Plan Commission held <br /> a public hearing upon the petition of G. HAROLD HUBBARD AND OTHERS <br /> to rezone the remaining portion of said premises, the same bein g de- <br /> scribed as: <br /> The West 210 feet and the North 150 feet of the <br /> Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of <br /> Section 36, Township 17 North� Range 2 East of <br /> the 3rd P.M. ; <br /> from R-1 SIN(�S FAMILY RESTDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br /> DISTRICT; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that <br /> the prayer of said petition be granted; and <br /> WHEREAS, thereafter this Council did consider said petition <br /> and recommendation but did not take action to reaone all the lands em- <br /> braced within said petitions and recommendations; and <br /> WHFsREAS, petitioners have now amended the requests hereto- <br /> fore made by s2eking a more restrictive zoning classification for a <br /> portion of said premises than that classification recommended by said <br /> Plan Commission as aforesaid. <br />
