<br /> WHEREAS� there has been filed with the City Clerk of
<br /> , the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of CLARENCE
<br /> E. SHULL AIVD OTHERS requesting that premises described as;

<br /> WHEREAS, it is shown by affidavit that s�d petition
<br /> is signed by all of the otivners of record of premises in said
<br /> above described property and by all of the el�ctors residing
<br /> therein; and
<br /> WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Gity of
<br /> Decatur, Illinois, an d is not a part of any city, village, in-
<br /> corporated town or other munidpality; and
<br /> WHEREAS, notice of intention to take act�n on annexa-
<br /> tion of said territory has be�n given as provided by Statute. ,
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIN�D BY THE COUI�TCIL OF T_HE
<br /> CITY OF DECATUR� ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove de-
<br /> scribed be, and the same is hereby, annexed to and is hereby
<br /> incorporated into the Iimits of the City of Decat�r, Illinois,
<br /> a municipal corporation.
<br /> Section 2. That a plat of said anne xed premises is
<br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof.
<br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk cause certified copies of
<br /> this ordinance to be respectively filed �-vith the County Clerk and
<br /> recorded by the Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois.
