FY 2016 -FY 2019 <br /> MASS TRANSIT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> DESCRIPTION OF CAPITAL PROJECTS <br /> FY 2016 ELEMENT <br /> Project <br /> Number Project Description <br /> 2010-6 PARATRANSIT SCHEDULING SOFTWARE: Purchase software for the scheduling <br /> and dispatching of paratransit vehicles. The software would be installed on the van <br /> dispatcher's computer and it would replace the manual method of scheduling and <br /> dispatching paratransit vans that is still in use. <br /> 2010-7 SECURITY GATE: Install a motorized security gate to the maintenance/bus barn <br /> area. The security gate would include video monitoring and electronic key entry for all <br /> Transit System vehicles and employees. <br /> 2016-3 ADA VANS: Purchase two light-duty ADA vans with wheelchair lifts to <br /> provide complementary service for people with disabilities. These vehicles will ' <br /> replace two 20081ight-duty ADA vans with wheelchair lifts. I <br /> 2016-1 SERVICE VEHICLES: Purchase one 5 passenger sedan and one 12 passenger van and �', <br /> one service pick-up truck to be used by the Street Supervisors,Managers and <br /> Maintenance in support of transit operations. These vehicles will replace one 2000 <br /> sedan and one 2001 12 passenger van and one 95 Ford escort. <br /> 2016- SECURITY CAMERAS: Purchase twelve security cameras with DVR and hard drives <br /> for existing fixed route vehicles,which currently does not have cameras. <br />
