AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT This AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT is entered into this 7th day of November, 2016, by and between the City of Decatur, Illinois ("City"), a municipal corporation, and Timothy Gleason("Employee"). WHEREAS, the parties hereto previously entered into and executed an EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT, dated March 16, 2015, which AGREEMENT the parties now wish to amend as set forth herein; and, WHEREAS, said EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT shall remain fully enforceable and effective, as written, except as to matters expressly amended or modified as set forth herein. NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants, warranties and agreements contained herein, the parties hereto do hereby covenant and agree as follows: Section 1. The EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT previously executed as aforesaid ("AGREEMENT") shall remain in full force and effect, as written, except as may be modified or amended as expressly set forth herein. Section 2. Section A., 1., of the AGREEMENT shall be amended and modified at the first paragraph thereof such that said first paragraph, as so amended and modified shall provide that said Employee shall receive a three percent(3%)raise beginning March 23, 2016, and furthermore, that said Employee shall receive a two percent(2%) raise effective January 1, 2017. Section 3. On December 31, 2016, said EMPLOYEE may exchange up to ten(10) unused vacations days for compensation, based on EMPLOYEE salary at that time. Section 4. The amendment to Section A., 1., of the AGREEMENT, as set out in paragraph 2 hereof, shall be effective immediately upon passage. DATED this 7th day of November, 2016.
