ORDINANCE NO. 2 017—17 ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ALL WAY STOP INTERSECTION AT WEST PRAIRIE AVENUE AND NORTH EDWARD STREET BE IT ORDAINED,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the intersection of West Prairie Avenue and North Edward Street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, be and is hereby designated and established as all way stop intersection. Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle approaching said intersection from any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, shall yield the right-of-way to vehicles which have entered the intersection from another direction or which are approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time when said vehicles are moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter having so stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. Section 3. That the provisions of all Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance which insofar as the same do conflict therewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
