RESOLUTION NO. R 2017-44 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> -NATURE'S WAY LAWN SERVICE- <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to provide weed <br /> removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County Trustee which have been <br /> divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, District 1 I was awarded to Nature's Way Lawn Service; and <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2018. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to make <br /> payments to Nature's Way Lawn Service, upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at $45 <br /> per mowing in District 11, for an estimated annual cost of Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred <br /> Thirty Dollars ($13,230.00) and a total two-year cost of approximately Twenty-Six Thousand <br /> Four Hundred Sixty Dollars ($26,460.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 2017. <br /> G�tJ <br /> J IE MOORIIWOLFE,MA OR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> CITY CLERK <br />
