I <br /> BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> Term Limitations <br /> Policy: <br /> The membership of persons serving on boards and commissions shall be limited to two <br /> succeeding full terms, except for one-year term appointments, and all such appointments shall be <br /> limited to a maximum of six years. <br /> Members of the City Council and City Staff are exempt from term limitations imposed <br /> under this policy. <br /> LABOR NEGOTIATIONS <br /> Council Involvement <br /> Policy: <br /> The City Council shall not become directly involved in labor negotiations nor make <br /> public statements regarding negotiations in progress. <br /> PARKING RESTRICTIONS <br /> Notification Of <br /> Policy: <br /> Any individual or group which requests parking restrictions shall be directed to circulate <br /> a petition and to contact each residence or business located in the block or blocks where parking <br /> restrictions are requested. <br /> Staff Responsibility: <br /> The petition shall be submitted to the Public Works Department for consideration by the <br /> Traffic and Parking Commission. <br />
