B. Budget <br /> The Executive Board shall adopt an annual budget at its annual meeting in <br /> October. Immediately after adoption, copies of the budget shall be mailed <br /> to each member agency. <br /> ARTICLE V - MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS <br /> A. Funding <br /> 1. Each member shall pay an annual contribution to CIRDC based upon <br /> Calls For Service provided to that member during the preceding year, <br /> September 1St through August 31st. <br /> 2. The Calls For Service annual contribution rate is determined by projecting <br /> the annual budget needs of CIRDC for the coming fiscal period, divided <br /> by the total number of Calls For Service for all members, during the <br /> period defined in Article V, Section A.1 hereof. <br /> 3. Any Macon County First Responder Agency receiving service from <br /> CIRDC shall pay a minimum annual fee of One Thousand Dollars <br /> ($1,000.00). The Executive Board may adjust this fee from time to time, <br /> based upon the needs of CIRDC. <br /> 4. The Macon County Emergency Telephone System Board will contribute <br /> monetarily, or an equivalent in-kind contribution, or a combination thereof, <br /> equal to Two Hundred Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000.00) <br /> annually, provided the State 9-1-1 Surcharge funds received by the <br /> Macon County Emergency Telephone System Board do not diminish from <br /> the projected 2017 level of funding, which is Eight Hundred Ninety-Eight <br /> Thousand Dollars ($898,000.00). <br /> B. Each member's annual contribution shall be established pursuant to <br /> CIRDC's budget according to the method stated in Article V, Section A <br /> hereof. Written objections to such contribution filed with CIRDC within <br /> thirty (30) days of a member's receipt of the approved budget shall be <br /> deemed such member's notice of withdrawal in accordance with Article VII <br /> of these By-Laws. <br /> C. The Executive Director may establish a schedule for the periodic payment <br /> of charges due from the members under Article V, Section A hereof, and <br /> give notice of payments at least thirty (30) days before their due date. Any <br /> participant that does not pay its charges within thirty (30) days after the <br /> date due shall not be permitted to vote at meetings of the Executive Board <br /> or the Operations Group until such payment is made. <br /> 10 <br />
