Exhibit A <br /> Detailed Scope of Services <br /> 2017/2018 Bridge Superstructure Replacements & Substructure Repairs,Mound Road/Spring Creek, <br /> SN 058-3035 & 058-3036 <br /> Phase I & II Documents,Phase III Assistance <br /> AECOM will prepare contract documents for superstructure replacement for the West and Center Mound <br /> Road structures over Spring Creek, SN 058-3035 &058-3036 in Decatur, Illinois. The scope of work will <br /> include the following: <br /> Task 100—Topographic & Hydraulic Survey <br /> 1. Prepare survey outline and perform topographic survey for road,bridge, and creek elements <br /> sufficient to develop Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling along with roadway design elements and <br /> utilities. Survey J.U.L.I.E Locate utilities. <br /> 2. Photo log of roadway and hydrology features. <br /> 3. Survey bridge openings; at Mound &Up/Down Stream <br /> 4. Document any utilities attached to the structures. <br /> 5. Gather testimony history of high water elevation and possible overtopping from local residents. <br /> 6. Download and process survey data. <br /> Task 200—Hydraulic Reports <br /> 1. Verify StreamStat basins and verify design criteria with City. For example, RR at piers and <br /> abutments 2:1. <br /> 2. Perform additional hydrology calculations, if necessary <br /> 3. Perform hydraulic/scour analysis using HEC-RAS <br /> 4. Coordinate with IDOT and City for bridge type and beam depth <br /> 5. Prepare Waterway Information Tables <br /> 6. Prepare preliminary bridge design and hydraulic reports. Submit to IDOT Local Bridge Unit for <br /> approval <br /> Task 300—Structure Inspection and BCR Updates <br /> 1. Existing bridge&roadway plans <br /> 2. Review the Routine Inspection and Inventory Forms BBS-BIR & S-105 <br /> 3. Obtain the Master Structure Report(S-107) for the structures to be inspected <br /> 4. Review existing drawings of the structures to be inspected. Note any previous rehabilitation work <br /> 5. Prepare sketch plans of the top and bottom of the deck, abutments,piers and other structural <br /> elements as necessary to allow proper documentation of the location and description of significant <br /> distress features. <br /> 6. Prepare an inspection checklist for each structure based on the IDOT BCR Practices and Procedures <br /> Manual <br /> Scope 6-05-2017 A-1 <br />
