RESOLUTION NO. R 2 01 9-3 6 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOT4R FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND STREET MAINTENANCE <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$741,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax funds <br /> for the purpose of traffic signal maintenance,concrete for street maintenance,the purchase of road <br /> salt, striping of City roads,the purchase of asphalt for street rnaintenance,and the purchase of <br /> pavement asset management saftware for the City of Decatur, Illinois,from January 1,2019 to <br /> December 31,2019. <br /> Section 2. That tr�c signal rnaintenance, concrete for street maintenance,the purchase of <br /> road salt, striping of City roads,the purchase of asphalt for street maintenance,the purchase of <br /> pavement asset management software and operations as listed and described on the Municipal <br /> Estimate of Maintenance Costs,including supplernental or revised estimates approved in connection <br /> with this resolution,are eligible for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as <br /> specified above. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall,as soon as three(3)months after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, a <br /> certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s)for this <br /> period; and <br /> Section 4.
