<br /> - CHAP'TER 07-
<br /> -OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY-
<br /> BE IT QRDAINED, BY THE CITY CflUNCIL C?F THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That Chapter 07 of the City Code af the City af Decatur, Illinois, be, and the
<br /> same is hereby rnodified and amended by amending Section 2. Said Section 2 as so modified and
<br /> amended, shall pravide as follows:
<br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMQVAL. The City Manager shall have the power and
<br /> authority to appaint and remave at will the Deputy City Manager, all directors af departments,all
<br /> deputy and assistant department directars, fire marshals, battalion chiefs,police personnel abave
<br /> the rank af sergeant, division managers and supervisors, administrative secretaries, executive
<br /> assistant, administrative assistant, members of the Legal Department, Personnel Specialists,
<br /> Systems Administrators,Senior Systems Analyst,Systems Analysts,Budget and Revenue Officer,
<br /> Risk Management Assistant, Civil Engineer I, Civil Engineer II, Assistant City Engineer, GIS
<br /> Specialist, Fleet Supervisor, Water Production Maintenance Supervisor, Water Production
<br /> 4perations 5upervisor, Supervisor of Technical Services, Police Records Supervisor, Water
<br /> Distribution Supervisor, Water Metering Supervisor, City Forestry and Property Supervisor,
<br /> Foreman, Economic Developrnent Officer, Senior Planner, Planners, Planning and Development
<br /> Manager, Developrnent and Revitalization Specialist, Senior Crime Analyst, Crime Analyst,
<br /> Neighborhoad Programs Specialist, Mass Transit Administrator, Grants and Procurernent
<br /> Manager, Community Liaison Officer, Comptroller, Clerical Support Supervisor, Neighborhoad
<br /> Programs Manager and temporary and seasonal emplayees.
<br /> Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be effective upon approvat and execution by City
<br /> Council.
<br /> Section 3. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the
<br /> provisions hereof to be appropriately set out in the City Code and to cause the same to be published
<br /> in pamphlet form according to law.
