RESOLUTION NO. R2020— �� I <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF DECATUR TO PROVIDE AN <br /> INTERFUND CASH ADVANCE TO CERTAIN FUNDS TO AFFECT A <br /> POSITIVE CASH POSITION AS OF THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS AS OF <br /> DECEMBER 31,2020 <br /> WHEREAS, Funds of the City must have monies in an amount to affect a positive cash <br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2020 for the purpose of defraying incurred <br /> expenditures during the fiscal period; and, <br /> WHEREAS, certain city funds may be in a position due to unforeseen circumstances to <br /> not have a positive cash position as of December 31, 2020, it is necessary for the City of Decatur <br /> to provide an interfund cash advance to these certain funds. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That an Interfund Cash Advance in the amount of$500,000 to affect a positive <br /> cash position at the close of business as of December 31, 2020 to the CDBG Fund of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved. <br /> Section 2. That an Interfund Cash Advance in the amount of$500,000 to affect a positive <br /> cash position at the close of business as of December 31, 2020 to the Public Mass Transit Fund <br /> of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file, and <br /> approved. <br /> Section 3. That an Interfund Cash Advance in the amount of$500,000 to affect a positive <br /> cash position at the close of business as of December 31, 2020 to the Grant Fund of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby,received,placed on file, and approved. <br /> Section 4. That the City Treasurer is hereby, authorized and directed to affect said <br /> interfund cash advances, as necessary, to affect a positive cash position as of December 31, <br /> 2020, to the CDBG Fund, the Public Mass Transit Fund, and the Grant Fund, on behalf of the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois. <br /> Section 3.
