RESOLUTION NO. R Ua L-�C S RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION R2020-183 AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF CITY OF DECATUR PUBLIC TRANSIT SERVICES WITH MV TRANSPORTATION, INC WHEREAS,the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, an Illinois municipal corporation and body politic ("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS,the City desires a turn-key management and operation solution for mass transit operations; and, WHEREAS,the City finds that this agreement MV Transportation, INC.,provides for this goal, as well as provides flexibility of service options for the City. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Decatur as follows: Section 1. That Resolution R2020-183 authorizing this same action is hereby repealed. Section 2. The agreement for management and operation of Decatur Public Transit Services with MV Transportation, Inc. as attached, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved. Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk, or their designee be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute the Management and Operation Agreement between the City of Decatur, Illinois and MV Transportation, Inc.
